NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held by the Board of Aldermen of the City of Battlefield, at 6:30 p.m. on 20th day of August, at City Hall in Battlefield, Missouri concerning the matter of the proposed annexation by property owned by, Lone Pine Farms, LLC (Doug Anderson and Madeline Tate), located at 4808 Elm Battlefield, MO 65619, of partially developed land into the City of Battlefield of the following described real estate in Greene County, Missouri, to-wit:
COMMENCING AT THE NW CORNER OF THE SOUTHWEST FRACTIONAL QUARTER OF SECTION 19, TOWNSHIP 28 NORTH, RANGE 22 WEST OF THE 5TH PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, GREENE COUNTY, MISSOURI THENCE ALONG THE NORTH LINE OF THE QUARTER SECTION LINE S 87°29’24” E A DISTANCE OF 2,089.41’ TO THE TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING (POB): THENCE CONTINUING S 87° 29’ 24” E A DISTANCE OF 284.61: THENCE LEAVING SAID NORTH LINE S 02°17’39” W A DISTANCE OF 990.00’; THENCE N 87°19’27” W A DISTANCE OF 460.65; THENCE N 02°17’41” E A DISTANCE OF 645.50: THENCE S 88°26’21” E A DISTANCE OF 182.65’: THENCE N 01°10’51” E A DISTANCE OF 340.23’ TO SAID TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING, HAVING AN AREA OF 394,449.7 SQUARE FEET, 9.06 ACRES MORE OF LESS.
At this Public Hearing any interested person, corporation or political subdivision may present evidence regarding the proposed annexation. Furthermore, any objections to the proposed annexation should be filed, in writing, with the Board of Aldermen of the City of Battlefield no later than 14 days after the date of the said Public Hearing.
