The offices at City Hall will be closed on Monday, February 19th in observation of President's Day. They will reopen on Tuesday, February 20th at 8:00 a.m.

There will be an Economic & Development Commission Meeting on Thursday February 15th at 8:30 a.m. in City Hall.

We are thrilled to announce the following program, sponsored by the Battlefield Park Board: A Beginner Line Dance Class! Come out and get your heart pumping and your brain working while having a great time learning and dancing to some easy line dances. Offered every 2nd Tuesday of the month (starting in February), each class will start at 6:30 p.m. and end at 7:45 p.m. in the Community Center of the Battlefield City Hall at 5434 S. Jim Clemmons, Alderman for Ward Three, has officially resigned from his position. On January 23, 2024, resident Tim Kelley Sr. was sworn in to take his place. Welcome, Tim!

The Planning & Zoning Meeting still plans to meet tonight (Monday, 1/22/24) at 6:00 p.m. in City Hall. The public is welcome to attend, but please drive carefully!

The Board of Alderman meeting that was scheduled for tonight (1/16/2024) at 6:30 p.m. has been cancelled due to a lack of quorum.

There will be Municipal Court on Tuesday, January 16th at 2:00 p.m. in the courtroom at City Hall.

The temperature will be dropping over the weekend. Make sure to prepare your pipes for the extreme cold. 1. Close inside valves supplying water to outdoor faucets/hookups. 2. Open outdoor faucets to allow residual water to drain after water supply is turn off inside. 3. Keep garage doors closed to maintain a warmer interior for exposed pipes. 4. Open cabinet doors where plumbing is located to allow warmer air to circulate. 5. For pipes at risk of freezing, let water drip from indoor faucets. 6. Keep the heat in your home no lower than 55 degrees.
